Who are Biologi?
Biologi are inspiring leaders in the new generation of Clean Active Cosmeceutical within the skincare industry.
With 100% clean active serums that perform as potent cosmeceuticals made from plant extracts. All Biologi products contain plant phyto-actives and micronutrients including magnesium, calcium, potassium, sodium, copper, selenium, iron, manganese, phosphorus. These nutrients are pulled directly from the plant and not added synthetically.
What does being '100% active' mean?
100% active means the ingredients can be delivered and accepted into the skin bringing about a cellular change.
Biologi serums are completely water soluble, which means that the delivery system of the serums and their active ingredients within the liquid matrix are readily accepted into the skin. Nutrients are delivered within the plants liquid matrix which keeps them stable. Active ingredients may penetrate through the cells (intracellular), between the cells (intercellular) or via the follicle (transappendgeal)
The Man Behind The Mission of Clean Active Cosmeceuticals
Ross Macdougald is the founder of Biologi, BioInnovate & Phytoveryse. He is also the chairman of Plant Extracts, which is the sister company that makes the plant extracts for Biologi.
Ross can be credited with developing countless products and formulated active ingredients which are currently sold in brands across the globe. Driven by demand from the industry for similar ethical products, in 2008, Ross commenced his journey in pioneering a revolutionary plant extraction method CLECS II (Cold Liquid Extraction Closed System). This signaled the launch of the company Plant Extracts which supplies 100% active plant extracts to various industries.
These extracts are revolutionary, not only because they significantly outperform synthetic alternatives, but for their purity and ethical production. But Ross remained frustrated as brands were increasingly diminishing the levels of active ingredients meaning that what was found on the shelves was largely synthetic ingredients rendering the natural extracts useless. Wanting to change the game, Ross launched Biologi in 2017 with the global managing director Lucy, to produce the world’s first-ever 100% active plant extract.

Biologi is a must have for Sensitive or Sensitised skin
Our skin cells bear the full brunt of both internal and external stressors which can damage cells. Not only is damage caused by free radicals, environmental pollution and toxins inevitable, but so are cuts, scrapes and sunburn. Both a sensitized skin and sensitive can look and feel similar which can be misleading, but the difference between them is that a sensitive skin is genetic meaning that you are born with that skin type, whilst a sensitized skin is a condition that can come and go.
A sensitised skin will have an impaired skin barrier and so the goal of phyto-actives is to help repair this barrier function to maintain good skin health. With the help of phyto-actives, the skin can repair itself and heal faster without the need for harsh healing formulations which can potentially damage healthy cells
Biologi offers a full range of skincare targeting all issues from, accelerated aging, pigmentation, inflammatory skin issues like Rosacea to combating Acne.
