At Skintopia we are always striving to enhance your experience and deliver the best in skin health. We’re thrilled to share some exciting updates as we take a big step forward to improve how we serve you!
We’re transitioning to Fresha, a new booking system. This upgrade will simplify booking and bring a fresh approach to your visits.
This system changeover is scheduled to happen on the 3rd April for our Wellington locations and the 9th April for our Auckland locations. Leading up to our ‘go live’ dates, you may not be able to access online bookings, please call or email us and we’ll be happy to book your appointment.

Data Transfer
Rest assured your personal information will be safely & securely transferred to our new system. However, we will not be able to bring all historical information with us. Next time you visit us, or via email leading up to your next appointment, you may be asked to complete a quick form. It’ll help us keep your records current and personalised − thank you for your support!
Deposits
We will be requesting a 30% non-refundable deposit be paid to secure your booking in future (for bookings made in-store and online). The deposit you make will go towards your payment total on the day. Should you need to cancel your booking within 24-hours of your appointment, you will incur a 30% charge fee for that appointment booked and your deposit will be lost. This includes no shows. Cancellations and no shows have a significant impact on our business, and we hope that you can understand our need to enforce this policy. If you cancel your booking outside of this time, your booking deposit will be fully refunded. (Please note, refunds take 3-5 business days to be processed to your card).
New PayWave Only Terminals & No More Surcharges!
Fresha payment terminals offer PayWave functionality only. We appreciate that many of you prefer to pay by Eftpos to bypass the credit card surcharges. As we can no longer offer this service, we have made the decision as a business that we will cover the credit card fees moving forward. That means, no 2% charge for using a credit card once we move over to Fresha. Should you not have access to PayWave you can make payment via a bank transfer. Please speak with one of our teamon your visit who will walk you through this process.
A Note for Our Membership Clients
We are moving our Skintopia membership system from our current payment provider Aglow to Fresha for a much more seamless experience. This will not happen immediately though, so do not expect any change here to begin with. As we settle in with Fresha, one of our team will be in touch with you through the changeover process.
Gift Vouchers
All existing gift vouchers will be transitioned to our new system, so you can use these as normal in-store.
We’re working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure this transition is as seamless as possible. Our team is undergoing extensive training to master the new system, and we’re doing everything we can to minimise any disruption to your Skintopia experience. Change isn’t always easy, but it’s essential for growth – and we’re confident these updates will elevate your visits in the long run. We kindly ask for your patience and support as we navigate this exciting shift together.
